Sorry about the double post. I just spent an hour. Installed VirtualPC, PowerISO, and WinImage, then found working floppy images of DOS 6.22 and the Supplemental Utilities disk, then installed Windows 3.1. Downloaded a copy of the Windows ME boot disk to rip CD drivers out of, threw it all together, and TADA! This full install of DOS 6.22 (with DosShell) and Windows 3.1 should boot on pretty much ANY computer. You just can't save anything, obviously. Once it boots and you see 'C: ', type 'win' without quotes to boot Win 3.1 or 'dosshell' if you want to mess with that. P.S, your USB mouse/keyboard aren't going to work unless it supports 'USB Legacy Mode' or some crap like that. How to create Windows XP Live CD, complete with preinstalled programs. However, an almost true 'Windows XP SP3 LiveCD' for me would be one that is at least compatible with basic portable applications intended for 'Window XP SP3'. Unfortunately, all projects I know such as BartPE, WinBuilder, Reatogo, Ultimate Boot CD for Windows, etc., can create 'Windows XP LiveCD's' up to SP2 but not SP3. Unaltered DOS 6.22/Windows 3.1 Live CD: Maybe if I feel like it, and I can find my 3.11 disks I'll make one for that too. Maybe even with network support in VirutalPC! P.S.S, I like the video where the guy can't figure out that he has to go to File -> Exit to get out of the program. Up next: Anyone have the original WEP Games install disks? Maybe USB Mouse support in DOS/Win or a RAM Drive so you can remove the CD after it's booted. This is kinda cool. I'll try this out on a VM for sure. Just one question. ![]() ![]() Should that WinBar be there or not? I choose to include it, it made it feel more like windows 95/98 ( at the time everyone was trying to create a windows 95/98 'live cd so this was my attempt at making windows 3.10 more windows 95 ish ) plus to be honest, i think progam manager is damn ugly! @ QuiescentWonder, i got some help from a friend on the boot files so ijust checked with him to see if he was ok with me sharing the project ( its called courtesy ), as for the video, i havn't used windows 3.10 since 2003 so im a bit rusty at using it,im sorry if im not as perfect as you.
